Waddell Haciendas

We are a small friendly Maricopa County community at the foot of the White Tank Mountains consisting of 184 acres and a quarter lots. We enjoy paved roads, horse privileges, underground utilities, and underground irrigation. Our landowner’s association was originally formed to purchase and manage the irrigation system. We enjoy horseback riding in the foothills of the White Tank Mountains, clean air and spectacular views of the moon and stars.

Irrigation rights and operation

Irrigation rights are afforded to every landowner in ‘good standing’ with the WHLA. Every other Wednesday, the irrigation is ordered through the Maricopa Water District and is typically scheduled a couple of days thereafter. Ed McDonald is our Water Master and Vice President of the WHLA. He lives in the community and volunteers his time.
